The Enchanted Forest dog bowl is made in the last remaining Delftware factory from the 17th century in Delft, The Netherlands. The factory survived by innovating its decoration and production methods throughout the years. Nowadays, Royal Delft produces modern and iconic Dutch Designs that belong to the world's grandeur of high-end ceramics. Combining Lord Lou & Royal Delft's expertise resulted in a luxurious collection of handcrafted pet bowls made to stand out and match your home interior.
The forest scenery, which is painted by hand, is applied to the ceramic bowl through a transfer technique rooting from England in the 18th century. Once the transfers have been applied to the glazed bowls, the Royal Delft's iconic blue colors come alive. Each dog bowl will go through several steps: the design by the master-painter; the creation of the silkscreen made in four different tones of blue; the application of the colors after the bowls have been glazed and the final baking of the bowl. In total, each bowl will go through 3 baking rounds and combine a total of 120 hours of expertise craftsmanship.
To preserve the shine and quality of your The Enchanted Forest bowl we recommend cleaning it by hand with a nonabrasive sponge and mild soap. Do not put in the dishwasher.
